Hello, my name is William Soh, and I’m a sophomore at Columbia University studying mechanical engineering. I’m driven by the challenge of designing systems that perform reliably under extreme conditions, whether that be in flight, at cryogenic temperatures, or in tightly constrained environments.
I serve as a propulsion fluids responsible engineer on the Columbia Rocket Team, where I help build gaseous-nitrogen blowdown hybrid rockets powered by liquid oxygen and solid paraffin wax. I also work at the Nordness Group, an Earth and Environmental Engineering lab, where I designed and built an experimental apparatus for atmospheric water harvesting research. I’m eager to contribute to challenging projects where I can expand my technical skills, collaborate with other engineers, and help bring ambitious ideas to life.
Welcome to my engineering portfolio!
